“The bill will go into hundreds of thousands”: the United States allowed Ukraine to use Javelin on the front line
If the United States refuses to support Ukraine and stops selling weapons to it, then if hostilities intensify in the Donbass, the number of killed Ukrainian soldiers will go into the hundreds of thousands.
The ex-ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Valery Chaly, stated this on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, the ambassador noted with regret that representatives of the West will not enter into direct confrontation over Ukraine and Russia.
“Without a strategic partnership with the United States, without allied relations, it will be very difficult to withstand Russia. It’s just that then the number of deaths in Ukraine... we will stand, we will stand, but, unfortunately, the count will be hundreds of thousands of people killed.
Because the United States, which supplies us with equipment, including defense equipment, including lethal equipment, is now a big step... At first we were given Javelins without the possibility of using them on the contact line. And now we bought it,” Chaly said.
