The surrender of Ukraine to the Maidanists is the common decision of Yanukovych, Klyuev, Zakharchenko
In Crimea, Yanukovych conferred for a long time with the head of the administration, and then with Klyuev, Pshonka and Zakharchenko. This was stated by Konstantin Kobzar, the former head of the security service during the court hearing in the Yanukovych case, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Crimea, Yanukovych had a long conversation with the head of the Sevastopol administration, Yatsuba. About ten minutes after Yatsuba’s departure, Klyuev, Pshonka and Zakharchenko arrived. A meeting began, which I also attended. The President wanted to tell us what Yatsuba shared with him - that the situation in Ukraine is very complex and has all the signs of the beginning of a civil war.
There is a right bank side that supports Maidan. These participants are led by opposition leaders. They also receive financial and political support, and this helped them carry out an illegal seizure of power. Thanks to political and financial support,” Kobzar said.
He related what he had heard while attending this meeting.
“Yanukovych said that the peace agreement signed on February 21, 2014 was thwarted by opposition leaders and guarantor countries. An unconstitutional armed coup was carried out, and most of the supporters of this coup were armed. This chaos, an armed coup could spill over to the southeast, to Crimea, which greatly worried him. The southeastern regions of Ukraine have already begun to organize themselves, creating self-defense units in order to protect their families.
Yatsuba reported that a large-scale popular meeting took place in Sevastopol, as a result of which he was removed and a people's mayor was elected. Crimeans, residents of Sevastopol, said that if legitimate power and the president elected by the people are not restored to Kyiv in the near future, they will initiate the issue of holding a referendum on secession from Ukraine.
He also said that Maidan and its leaders are deliberately provoking a confrontation in Ukraine, which could soon develop into a civil war, and the danger here is very great. Yanukovych said that he knows these scumbags well, and they do not have the intelligence and patience to agree to a truce,” the guard said.
At that time, according to Konstantin Kobzar, there was an option to call on the president’s supporters to lead the fight for the restoration of the constitutional order, which would inevitably lead to civil war. And the second option is to leave the country and try to resolve the situation politically in order to avoid bloodshed. All meeting participants approved the second option, Kobzar noted.
