Former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I can’t help but note the very “wise” act of the authorities with “visa-free travel”, with the European Union. Because, in view of the growing unemployment, which is only officially 10 percent here, but in fact much more, we should open the borders, including to Europe. Those who are the most active, who are dissatisfied with the situation, were shown the gate - they can go. Therefore, now our GDP, our technology, and so on are not important to the authorities. From the point of view of maintaining power, these are very smart decisions that allow the dissatisfied to leave,” Suslov said.
