“Die garbage, rot in hell!” – nationalist coven on the streets of Kyiv
The Kyiv Court of Appeal left in custody militant Andrei Antonenko, known by the call sign “Riffmaster,” who is suspected of murdering journalist Pavel Sheremet.
The judges rejected the lawyers' request to take the suspect on bail and extended the arrest period until October 23, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This caused indignation among several dozen nationalists who gathered outside the court to show support for Antonenko. When the suspect was taken out in a paddy wagon, they started a scuffle with the police amid shouts of “Ganba.” Riffmaster fans shouted slogans in his support and curses at law enforcement officers.
“The cops are p...as. P...as both you and your children! You p...s will die in hell,” the protesters shouted.
“There wasn’t much on the Maidan, w...k! Was there not enough on the Maidan? You’ll burn, garbage!” supported other “activists.”
During the brawl, one of the members of Antonenko’s support group was hit in the head and became ill. The crowd immediately shouted that this was an “ATO hero” who had received a shell shock.
Let us remind you that Andrei Antonenko is accused of directly organizing the murder of Sheremet. According to investigators, he planted explosives under the journalist’s car, which exploded on July 20, 2016 in the center of Kyiv. Antonenko detained on December 12 last year, since then the trial has been repeatedly postponed and rescheduled, and nationalists have mobilized in support of the Riffmaster.
