On Channel 5, the deputy expressed confidence that the Ukrainian parliament had opened a new page in the history of Ukrainian politics: “This is the first parliament that dispersed the communist faction. The first parliament that works in conditions of aggression and, in fact, is ready to work in conditions of an election campaign.”
Viktor Chumak also commented on the fact that the Communist Party of Ukraine and the Party of Regions voted for some bills at today’s closed vote of the Verkhovna Rada as follows: “I don’t think they have corrected themselves, I think it’s just pressure from the government and the public.”
According to Chumak, after today’s “epoch-making” meeting, parliament must definitely consider the issue of open lists.
As Navigator reported, today the Verkhovna Rada did not support the resignation of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, as well as the transfer of control over the gas transportation system to the West, but allocated funds for the continuation of the ATO. Only 16 people voted for Yatsenyuk’s resignation, and 1 voted for the allocation of $300 billion for the ATO, including “regionals” and communists.
