“Today I am happy! Odessa did not give up and did not break"
The mass participation that Odessa residents demonstrated on May 9 to honor the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War proves that Odessa did not give up and did not submit to the Bandera regime established in Ukraine.
The ex-secretary of the Odessa diocese, priest Andrei Novikov, writes about this in his blog, who was forced to leave for Moscow due to the threat of arrest after active participation in the events of the Russian Spring.

“Old friends from Odessa just called. We just returned from Alexander Park (renamed Shevchenko Park by the Bolsheviks), where the Immortal Regiment marched on the Walk of Fame. They are very happy: there haven’t been so many people for several years - a sea of people, everything is packed, wherever the eye can see. And new waves come and go! But the most amazing thing is the 4 slogans that the people constantly chant:
1. Fascism will not pass!
2. Bandera's demons - get out of Odessa!
3. Donbass, we are with you.
4. ODESSA IS A RUSSIAN CITY!
Today I'm happy! Odessa did not give up and did not break. Truly the Lord is Risen!” – writes Father Andrey.
