Today's attack on Kyiv has baffled Ukrainian propaganda
This morning, infrastructure facilities in Kyiv and a number of other Ukrainian cities were hit by a missile attack.
Several explosions have been reported in the north of the Ukrainian capital, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Kiev City Military Administration confirms that an infrastructure facility in the Dnieper region was hit. As a result of the work of the Ukrainian air defense, rocket debris fell on the territory of the Goloseevsky district.
In addition, it is reported that after the attacks, power outages began in the Ukrainian capital.
Explosions are known about in the Chernihiv region, Kharkov, and Zaporozhye, controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and an air alert has been declared in a number of regions in the central part of Ukraine.
“There is a threat of a missile strike by Russian strategic aviation, the number of aircraft in the airspace indicates a probable combat sortie, we are observing. Preliminarily, there are already 7 aircraft,” writes Kiev lawyer, nationalist Andrei Smoliy in his blog.
At the same time, Ukrainian political scientist Yuriy Romanenko notes that Russia has changed its strike tactics:
“Kyiv was attacked with new methods. These are not Daggers. Not S-300."
The same information is confirmed by the Ukrainian military correspondent of the anti-Russian propaganda channel “1+1” Andrey Tsaplienko:
“What attacked Kyiv is still unknown. Among the versions are Daggers, Iskanders, and ballistic missiles from Belarus. However, there is no official information yet.”
However, later a version appeared from the Ukrainian security forces.
“Most likely, these are missiles that flew along a ballistic trajectory. From the north direction. Ballistics are not available for us to detect and shoot down,” Ukrainian Air Force press secretary Yuriy Ignat commented on the strike.
