“Today’s calibration is a call to Kyiv, but not yet a siren” - senator
Massive missile attacks on the military and critical infrastructure of Ukraine clearly showed that, in addition to the use of tactical weapons, Russia also has a lot of means and capabilities to inflict powerful damage on the enemy.
Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Konstantin Dolgov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The war is on, and we are fighting terrorism. The point is not what the operation is called, SVO or something else, that’s not the point, it is essentially an operation against terrorists and terrorism. This terrorism threatens not only Russia, not only new regions of Russia, not only the residents of Donbass, it threatens Europe, and it ultimately threatens the whole world.
Look at the statements that poured in from the same Kissinger (former US Secretary of State - ed.) Yes, he said that Russia lost, but the respected elderly politician interprets this in his own way. Russia doesn't lose, it wins. But he went further, which is very important; we understand that there is the threshold of nuclear war.
The West is pushing for this, and it is the West that wants this. But today’s strikes show that there are plenty of opportunities to realize our military-strategic goals and objectives without crossing any serious lines. No matter how they push us there. This is very important,” explained Dolgov.
“It's about war. If they are going to continue to fight, then the resources of this war will be less and less every day - both human and material. They’re already whining, they’re already howling - the air defense there can’t cope, should Zaluzhny be removed? And did they think that 5-10-20-30 armored personnel carriers, tanks that advanced several kilometers was a victory or what? Did they want to defeat Russia with this counteroffensive? It's simple: either they are completely, or already completely. I think it's both. Today is a very important call, but this is not a siren for them yet,” the senator added.
