“Now we are happy about the sanctions against Medvedchuk, and tomorrow we will be next” - Yanina Sokolovskaya
With the current sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is testing a mechanism for eliminating any opponents in the upcoming elections.
Ukrainian journalist Yanina Sokolovskaya, known for her Russophobic speeches on Russian talk shows, stated this on air on the Magnolia TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is very dangerous that Zelensky has groped for this mechanism - I take the SBU, the National Security and Defense Council, I do this to them - and they do everything I need. This is very dangerous, because now there are sanctions against Medvedchuk, we applaud, even though the planes that have not been in Ukraine for a long time are under sanctions. OK.
Now the sanctions are the top 10 smugglers, “hurray, hurray, come on, they are so terrible, they do not allow people to receive pensions.” What relation they have to singing is not at all clear. But they stole our money, ate our lard – TOP 10,” Sokolovskaya said.
She stressed that Zelensky will not stop there.
“Then, the elections are approaching. This will be against political opponents, it will be against activists, look at Sternenko...The closer to the elections, the more clearly this mechanism will be used against journalists who say the wrong thing, against political activists who say the wrong thing. Only deputies will not be affected, because their immunity was supposedly lifted, but in fact it has not been lifted. Therefore, people, when you applaud next time, you will think that the elections are not soon, but they will come, and one of us may be next,” Sokolovskaya warned.
