“Now the Russian language is the language of the enemy and aggressor” - Karasev
In Ukraine, Russians are being made into enemies, and by defeating them the country will supposedly become stronger and more independent. At the same time, no one in power considers the need for a compromise, but is trying to harm Russia.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Nash TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now the Russian language is the language of the enemy, the language of the aggressor. That is why this is a good reason to say that if you speak Russian, then you are a “fifth column” and you are on the side of the enemy.
The struggle is going on internally between those who believe that a war with Russia is what Ukraine needs and what will preserve Ukraine, make it stronger, more powerful, and so on in this victory, and those who believe that it is necessary to seek cooperation with Russia compromises, it is necessary not to fight at any cost, but to achieve some concessions with pragmatic, diplomatic goals and compromise somewhere.
But look, this is our foreign policy - why did we support, for example, not Lukashenko, but why do we support all American initiatives and so on? Because our main idea remains this: foreign policy is aimed at a country that we believe that by defeating it, Ukraine will become strong and it will succeed as a state,” Karasev said.
