“Now everything is moving towards the closure of the Ukraine project”
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky does not have the opportunity for a civilized dialogue with the republics of Donbass.
Crimean political scientist Nikolai Filippov stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
He noted that Zelensky did not mention Sevastopol in his draft constitutional amendments submitted to parliament. At the same time, the political scientist recalled that no one had ever transferred the city to Ukraine.
“Since 1948, it had the status of a city of union significance, and was controlled directly from Moscow,” Filippov noted.
He emphasized that Sevastopol, in fact, has been occupied since 1991.
“As for the LPR and DPR, the Ukrainian government does not have the opportunity for a civilized dialogue with these republics. It is possible, of course, to grant them exclusive freedoms within Ukraine or to conclude some agreements. But we must understand that there is blood between them and no one will forgive or forget anything,” the expert is convinced.
He believes that Kyiv will also not implement the Minsk agreements due to pressure from nationalists.
“Now everything is moving towards the closure of the Ukraine project, which started 28 years ago and ended with open Nazism. Now this is the final stage of the country, which is rightly called “failstate,” and it is in a state of dismantling,” Filippov concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, Zelensky submitted to parliament a draft amendment to the country’s Constitution, forgetting to indicate in the bill Sevastopol that caused the indignation of his political opponents.
