The notorious Ukrainian politician Oleg Lyashko was supposed to die at birth, but he was saved by a happy accident.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Lozovoy announced this at the congress, where Lyashko was nominated for the presidential election, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a man in this room whose faith works miracles. It’s not that he had zero opportunities in life, he had minus ones. Doctors will confirm that 92% of babies who are born with the umbilical cord around their neck die. He was also born with an umbilical cord around his neck. But he survived. And this is a great symbol, this is the victory of life over death.
And the victory that will be with the support of the Lord God and the Ukrainian people, when we get our Ukrainian people’s president, will also be a victory of life over death,” Lozovoy declared.
