Rural chic - a copy of the Eiffel Tower was built in Kyiv
Enterprising businessmen built a copy of the Eiffel Tower in one of the central – Pechersky districts of Kyiv. The remodel is intended to increase sales of apartments in the residential complex being built here, explains the author of the architectural blog contemporarykiev.
“The construction of the French Quarter residential complex is nearing completion on the territory of an entire block.” What's French about it? Like what – the Eiffel Tower! A kind of rural swag. You got your start selling socks in the passages, bought an apartment and tell your fellow villagers, “I have a view of the Eiffel Tower from my windows,” the author sneers.
