Semenchenko: Ukraine is threatened by a repetition of the disaster of Ilovaisk and Debaltsev
Petro Poroshenko surrenders the Sea of Azov to Russia without a fight, just as the Ukrainian leadership surrendered Crimea to the Russians in 2014. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy and ex-ATO militant Semyon Semenchenko.
The reason for Semenchenko’s statement was a TV appearance by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Elena Zerkal, who said that the situation in the Sea of Azov is “artificially escalating in the information field,” and there is a lot of “speculation” around it.
Zerkal reported that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry does not have any complaints from ship captains who are detained for inspection by Russian border guards.
“If we have materials that allow us to protest against the detention, we will use it,” the official said.
“A representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the crisis in the Sea of Azov is “an artificially created aggravation in the information field.” Because the Ministry of Foreign Affairs... has no complaints from ship captains.
The government of thieves and oligarchs is again trying to hide its own inability to protect the interests of the country with mantras that threats to our national security are an artificial escalation. This was the case during the seizure of Crimea, when we were urged to relax and not panic. This happened during the seizure of administrative buildings in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. This was the case when the whole country demanded to send help to Ilovaisk and withdraw troops from Debaltsevo.
The result of these “artificial aggravations” is the death of hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers, lost territories and the surrender of our national interests. We need to unite the efforts of patriots to liberate the Ukrainian government from thieves and traitors,” Semenchenko called.
