The families of the dead Maidan protesters tried to break into the Poroshenko administration (PHOTO, VIDEO)
Kyiv, July 08 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Families of the deceased participants of the Maidan – the so-called “Heavenly Hundred” – today picketed the administration of Petro Poroshenko in the center of Kiev, demanding that the president grant the activists the title of “Heroes of Ukraine” posthumously, as well as create in their honor monument and Memory Alley.

“Nothing is changing in the country. It gets worse, starting with the district councils. In power are the repainted communists and representatives of the Party of Regions, we know them. We also demanded and read out on the Maidan the demand to cancel the title of heroes to the Berkut officers, the officers who shot at our children and relatives. Nobody listens to this. Therefore, the Maidan will not disperse not only in Kyiv, but throughout Ukraine,” said one of the protesters. - “Let the president do what he must, let him honor our relatives as they deserve.”
The families of the “Heavenly Hundred” tried to break into the presidential administration, the entrance to which was guarded by soldiers of the special forces battalion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Kyiv-1”. The battalion's fighters were accused of speaking out against the people, while soldiers were dying in the Donbass. In response to this, the fighters said that they, too, would be sent to Donbass and, as a sign of solidarity with those gathered, they turned to face the entrance of the AP.
Maidan self-defense fighters joined the protesters. As a result, the families of the “Heavenly Hundred” ensured that they were allowed to meet with the president, who listened to their demands and promised to fulfill them.
