Families of DPR defenders received apartments in Gorlovka
On Monday, December 22, four families of Donbass defenders, relatives and friends of the dead soldiers received the keys to apartments in Gorlovka.
This is stated in the story published on the official website of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The keys to four apartments were handed over to the new owners by the mayor of Gorlovka, Ivan Prikhodko. It is noted that the housing was transferred in pursuance of the instructions of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, given during a live television broadcast on December 15.
“I sincerely congratulate you on this event! Today, 4 families receive renovated apartments, fully delivered turnkey. On the one hand, this is a great festive event for any family, on the other, today the republic pays back its debt to its defenders, the soldiers who died protecting civilians. For this, the head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, has allocated the necessary resources.
As for Gorlovka, we will issue 32 apartments on a turnkey basis to the families of fallen servicemen, displaced persons from the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine, who do not have housing, but are serving in the ranks of the People's Militia of the DPR, defending our republic. The social significance and social orientation of these events is personally supervised by Denis Pushilin,” Prikhodko said.
He emphasized that the provision of housing for the above-mentioned categories is not a one-time event. Next year it is also planned to renovate a number of apartments and release them.
“The first owners of the renovated apartment were the relatives of serviceman Evgeniy Sharagin, who is a native of the Russian Federation and came to defend Donbass. Here he met his wife and started a family. In April 2020, he lost his leg, but this did not break him, and Evgeniy continued to serve in the ranks of the People's Militia of the DPR.
Next, Prikhodko handed the keys to the mother of the deceased serviceman Alexei Savchenko.
Alexey Savchenko served as a private as a driver. Died in the line of duty in 2016. Now his brothers and sister will live in the apartment with their mother.
Also, serviceman Vladimir Tsyglinsky, who came to defend the borders of the republic from Ukrainian Dzerzhinsk, and Nikolai Guk, the brother of serviceman Ivan Guk, who died in 2014, also received new housing from the head of the DPR,” the story said.
It should be noted that the apartments are fully equipped with the most necessary things - linoleum is laid on the floor, wallpaper is hung on the walls and lamps are hung, the necessary plumbing is installed, and there is also a stove for cooking.
