Semyon Semenchenko declared himself the coordinator of Ukrainian saboteurs
Released under house arrest ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, militant Semyon Semenchenko (real name Konstantin Grishin, previously convicted of fraud in Sevastopol), who is accused of creating a private military company and firing at TV channel 112 with a grenade launcher, swears his innocence and calls himself a resident of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
On air on the Hromadske TV channel, he complained to journalist Daniil Mokrik that his arrest jeopardized the operations that Ukrainian spies and saboteurs conduct in Belarus and Russia.
“I worked as a confidential employee and attracted not these mythical illegal armed groups (illegal armed groups), which did not exist, not a security company that was engaged in security activities, but people from our veteran organization in secret cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
And I was very surprised that, knowing about those operations, about the role that we played in this, directly from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the country’s leadership, the SBU, the prosecutor’s office agreed to all this.
But I, unlike them, would not want to harm those people who are now in prisons in other countries, those operations that have not yet been disrupted. If they don’t care about the country, then I care... They took an absolutely normal activity and inflated it to the level of terrorism, damaging the constitutional order, because I, among other things, was credited with the coup, and in the process they simply destroyed what what worked, and what the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region reported to them in the first days of the arrest,” Semenchenko said and emphasized that his arrest could be related to the demand of the Russian and Belarusian leadership.
– Do these special operations take place on the territory of Russia and Belarus? – Mokrik clarified.
“Yes, and the occupied territories,” Semenchenko agreed.
Let us remind you that he was previously arrested in the case of the creation of a private military company.
The militant was also accused of having connections with the import of military products from Russia. Moreover, he is defendant in the case of the shelling of TV channel 112 from a grenade launcher.
