According to the Donbass News publication, Ukrainian artillery struck the buildings of the SBU, police and executive committee captured by the militia.
In addition, a fire broke out at one of the gas stations in Slavyansk as a result of a shell hitting it during one of the shellings of the city.
“Not far from the village of Artem, a shell hit a gas station, there was a strong explosion, and at the moment a fire started. There are wounded,” the militia headquarters said.
In turn, the representative of the ATO headquarters, Vladislav Seleznev, said that during the anti-terrorist operation, the military does not use weapons against civilians.
“Regardless of the conditions, the military does not use weapons against civilians and does not fire at residential areas or places where there are large crowds of people. We work only against militants, against their checkpoints and inflict defeats with precise strikes,” asserts Seleznev.
At the same time, local residents say that their homes and businesses are coming under fire.
