Navalny's family rejected the Kremlin's offer of treatment in the best clinics
After the mysterious hospitalization of Alexei Navalny, the Kremlin offered to organize treatment for the oppositionist in the best clinics, but the liberal’s wife responded with a categorical refusal.
The head of the Russian Hour media company, co-author of the biography of President Vladimir Putin, Alexander Korobko, spoke about this in an interview with Tsargrad, citing data from his sources.
According to Korobko, Navalny was going to be offered treatment at the Kremlyovka with the involvement of the best toxicologists in the country. The second option involved hospitalizing the blogger in one of the best hospitals in the world - the famous Cuban hospital in Doha, where high-ranking Qatari officials are treated.
At the same time, it was guaranteed that the assistance of the authorities would not be advertised. “It’s in the Russian tradition not to hit someone who is down,” Korobko explained the Kremlin’s readiness to help Navalny, who is known as an outspoken critic of Vladimir Putin.
However, the liberal’s wife, Yulia, responded with a categorical refusal in a letter to officials, insisting on treatment exclusively in Germany, where Navalny was eventually sent.
Korobko called such a response a “defiantly disrespectful letter,” expressing confidence that the goal of Navalny’s entourage was media hype, and not a quick recovery for the oppositionist.
