The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine increased one-time financial assistance from 500 to 750 subsistence minimums to the families of military personnel who died during the performance of official duties or as a result of an illness associated with the performance of their obligations.

The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on November 15, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the Government Portal.
“The government has increased the amount of assistance to the families of military personnel killed in service from 800 thousand UAH to 1,2 million UAH (the cost of living as of January 1, 2017 is 1,6 thousand UAH),” the message says.
It is noted that the amount of assistance to the family in the event of the death of a military man during military service in the military reserve by conscripts, conscripts and reservists who are called up for training (or testing) and special training remains the same - 500 subsistence minimums.
It is also reported that the Cabinet of Ministers increased from 250 to 400 subsistence minimums for able-bodied people one-time assistance to those who received disability with the establishment of group I, from 200 to 300 subsistence minimums - group II, from 150 to 250 subsistence minimums - group III.
