The US Senate was caught writing an illiterate anti-Russian resolution
Instead of adopting another ignorant resolution condemning the actions of the Russian Federation in the Kerch Strait, the US Senate should realize the role of its country and its officials in what has been happening in Ukraine in recent years.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Such a resolution is an indicator of the extremely low intellectual and educational level of those who drafted it. These are people who have no idea about the things they are talking about. They don’t know the facts, they don’t understand the problems about which they make such statements,” said a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“It is the United States and the foreign policymakers of this state that are responsible for the fate of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in recent years. It was under the direct leadership of representatives of the US State Department that the Maidans, the seizure of power, the dissolution of legally elected structures, and in general all these changes that we observe took place. Under the dictation of American diplomats, officials, and representatives of security forces, the future of Ukraine was drawn, state power, information policy and, of course, policy towards Donbass were formed.
Therefore, instead of accepting another piece of paper, you need to realize the role of your country and your officials in the Ukrainian tragedy and accept some other statement. For example, regarding the role of the US State Department in 2013-2014 in the events in Ukraine,” Zakharova added.
