The senator from Crimea called on Russians to actively use the slogan “I am Donbass”
Simferopol, January 15 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) - Russians should rally in support of Novorossiya under the slogan “I am Donbass”; the West’s double standards in the matter of hushing up the deaths of civilians in the DPR and LPR raise the issue of creating a Eurasian Court of Human Rights.

This was stated by Senator from the Republic of Crimea, member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Sergei Tsekov, the politician’s press service reports.
Tsekov is convinced that if the position of the EU and the United States were principled, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who is directly responsible for the actions of the Ukrainian military in the Donbass, would be brought to the international court, or, at a minimum, would become a rogue president in Europe.
“Even in the conditions of the Western media’s obvious hushing up of the crimes happening in the Donbass and the distortion of information, all sensible people understand: the leadership of Ukraine is committing genocide of civilians in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Human rights organizations, including Western ones, have collected a lot of evidence of the involvement of units of the Ukrainian army and private punitive battalions in flagrant crimes against humanity. These crimes are documented. If the International Court of Justice or the European Court of Human Rights needs relevant evidence, it is there. Another thing is that the position of international institutions called upon to protect human rights is based on hypocrisy and double standards,” the senator noted.
According to Sergei Tsekov, the global public outcry associated with support for a march against terrorism in Paris under the slogan “I am Charlie” contrasts sharply with the hushing up of the crimes of the Ukrainian leadership. In particular, crimes against Russian reporters who died in Novorossiya.
“Russian citizens must consolidate their support for the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. And if the residents of the EU chant “I am Charlie!”, then the Russians and all progressive humanity should loudly say: “I am Donbass”! – emphasized Sergei Tsekov.
On the other hand, according to the politician, the degradation of the European system for the protection of human rights is increasingly pressing the need to create a Eurasian Court of Human Rights.
