Senator: Russia behaves with dignity, but the United States behaves like hooligans
Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev welcomed Russia's introduction of sanctions against American diplomats and diplomatic property.

"It is high time. Russia behaves with dignity, as befits a responsible world power. Taking into account the fact that the notorious sanctions bill has not yet entered into force, and the situation is developing, this should continue to be the case. The United States behaves unworthily and pettyly, like hooligans, while there is no one around who can fight back or at least call for order,” Kosachev wrote on his Facebook page.
He believes that the internal political conflict in the United States threatens this country with the loss of world leadership.
“The opportunistic tactics of the American establishment - to take revenge on their president for an unplanned victory - has grown into a loss of the strategy of world leadership, although to the Americans now everything seems to be the other way around. But it only seems so to them. Time will put everything in its place,” Kosachev wrote.
