At a meeting of the Committee for Public Support of Residents of South-East Ukraine, it “unexpectedly” turned out that Russian pensioners who live in Donbass do not receive pensions. There are now from 4 thousand to 5 thousand pensioners - citizens of the Russian Federation - in the ATO zone. In response, the senators decided to contact the government and the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
“A solution can be found within the framework of humanitarian missions or within the framework of the creation of temporary commissions, committees for social support of our pensioners,” said the head of the committee, Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council Yuri Vorobyov.
