Senchenko finally realized that neither Crimeans nor Ukrainians are ready to live together
Ukraine is completely unprepared for the “reintegration” of Crimea, since Kyiv cannot organize normal life support on the peninsula, and the people are afraid of the unknown.
Former Crimean, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Senchenko stated this on the Majlis TV channel ATR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Are we going to return Crimea and Donbass? Re going. What do you think, well, let’s simulate the situation, today the moment has come, today the occupiers are leaving. Tell me, is the Ukrainian government ready to return to these territories and ensure people’s lives, a normal life for people, including the restoration of documents and so on? I claim that I am not ready,” the politician said.
According to him, people living in Crimea are not ready to return to Ukraine.
“There is a huge problem: the most important thing they have today is the fear of the unknown... And you and I, living in the free territory of the country, are we psychologically ready for this reunification? I also have to say that, unfortunately, no,” Senchenko said.
