Former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea and member of the political council of the Batkivshchyna party Andrei Senchenko stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine, answering the question of what will happen after the return of Crimea to Ukraine.

“The legislative power must now formulate the concept of the system that will reign at that time,” Senchenko believes. – And also – what will be the responsibility for crimes. A huge number of people are facing criminal charges for their actions during, during and after the occupation. Starting from Sergei Aksenov and military traitors, ending with rural district police officers. If all of them are left within the scope of the Criminal Code, resistance to deoccupation will be fierce. It is necessary to prepare a draft law on amnesty for up to 95 percent of these people. Such as district police officers. The military, judges, prosecutors, and political leaders must be punished. Collaborators, for example, those elected to district councils or village councils of the occupation authorities, should be banned from public service for 15 years and deprived of the right to vote. Only then will we be able to hold elections in Crimea. Like in Germany after denazification.”

“It is also necessary to give the opportunity to choose between a Russian and Ukrainian passport,” the politician added. – If grandmother says that she wants to die Russian, there are no questions. Let him hand over his Ukrainian passport. We give her a residence permit. But she doesn’t vote, and Russia pays her pension. Anyone who remains a citizen of Ukraine must give up a Russian passport or fill out a declaration; they have never received one. If the Russian document is then revealed somewhere, a large fine will be imposed. Give those who came to Crimea from the Russian Federation on the shoulders of the occupiers a week to get ready and goodbye.”
