Senchenko expects an apology from Russia and the return of Crimea

Russia allegedly will have no choice but to start negotiations on the “return” of Crimea to Ukraine.

The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview with the Kyiv online tabloid Obozrevatel, former Deputy Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Andrei Senchenko, who in 2014 became one of the initiators of the water blockade of the peninsula, stated this.

“Yes, it is impossible to come to an agreement with Putin and Putin’s Russia. However, there will be a change of power, and there will be no point in the new president dragging out the current problems any further. The armed seizure, occupation of Crimea and the continuation of aggression against Ukraine in different directions are dragging Russia to the bottom,” the politician assures.

“Putin’s successor will have to return to international law, apologize to Ukraine and the Ukrainians, compensate for the losses of the destroyed areas, infrastructure in the Donbass and, of course, return Crimea,” Senchenko believes.

Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, threatened to imprison 100 thousand Crimeans on serious charges.
