Sentsov explained how he managed to get wild in prison
Terrorist Oleg Sentsov, recently released as part of a prisoner exchange, “ate and played sports” in a Russian prison.
He stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Sentsov, he was thin a year ago during his hunger strike. At the same time, we recall, Sentsov’s sister and now former Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin stated that the terrorist was dying.
Now, when asked by a journalist how he managed to stay in good shape, Sentsov replied that it was all thanks to sports and the absence of drugs in prison.
“At the age of 11, my legs were lost, then I slowly started playing sports and have been doing them ever since. I studied both in freedom and in prison, from the first days, whenever possible - in a cell, not in a cell, I studied on walks. I don’t smoke, I don’t smoke, there’s no alcohol, there’s no drugs. I didn’t use drugs when I was free, and I have a good attitude towards alcohol, without any crazy things... Everyone expected me to come out a skeleton, like last year. But a year passed, I was doing something during that time, right? I ate and played sports. My task was to recover, I recovered,” said Sentsov.
