Sentsov refused the post of prison librarian in Russia
Ukrainian terrorist Oleg Sentsov, convicted in the Russian Federation, will refuse to work as a librarian in a colony if he is offered this job, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Sentsov’s lawyer Dmitry Dinze told MBKh Media about this.
“Oleg will not accept the work conditions, as he told me from the first days: “I will not work anywhere, I will not take part in any way in any events in the colony - I am not interested.” And all these jobs that are offered to him are associated with warm and good conditions, where, as a rule, prisoners who cooperate with the administration work, but he does not consider himself one of those,” Dinze said.
According to him, Sentsov considers himself “the same prisoner as everyone else” and does not want special concessions to be made for him. The lawyer also noted that he would not face anything for refusing to participate in the work, since the work could only be voluntary.
Today, Deputy Director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia Valery Maksimenko said that after medical rehabilitation after the hunger strike, Sentsov may be offered the position of colony librarian to work on the script.
Earlier, Senuov stopped his declared hunger strike and ate chicken.
