Kovtun's sensational revelation: Ukraine has established production of Buk missiles
Over the past four years, the Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC) has launched the production of Buk anti-aircraft missile systems.
A Ukrainian political scientist stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, commenting on the accident with the Buk that occurred in Kyiv.
The fact is that in 2014, the former head of the SBU, Igor Smeshko, assured that there are no such anti-aircraft systems in Ukraine - supposedly the latter were sold to Georgia.
“Mr. Smeshko held some position five years ago. The military-industrial complex was revived during this time. Naturally, the Beeches were also restored. It's not a problem. This is simply evidence of the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian troops and the insufficient ability of the driver mechanics to drive the installations. It’s one thing to launch... Be afraid of the Ukrainian army, it’s scary,” Kovtun said.
Let us recall that in July 2014, a Malaysian passenger plane was shot down over the Donbass by a missile fired from a Buk. Ukraine and the West are trying to blame Russia.
