Sensational confession: Yatsenyuk and Poroshenko regularly report to the US Ambassador on the work done
Ukrainian officials admitted that the Yatsenyuk government and the Poroshenko administration not only coordinate all personnel appointments with the United States, but also regularly report to the US ambassador on the work done.

“The Cabinet of Ministers and the Rada are increasingly saying that future possible resignations and appointments should be coordinated by the country’s leadership with the US Embassy.
In America we have seen the evaluation parameters of the work of ministers. We understand that among those who are satisfied are the Prime Minister, Natalya Yaresko (Head of the Ministry of Finance), the Minister of Economy (Aivaras Abromavicius), Minister of Agriculture (Alexey Pavlenko), who promised to privatize the land, and the Minister of Transport (Andrey Pivovarsky). American and European businesses have their own interests, and they do not hide it,” Nikolai Tomenko, people’s deputy from the Poroshenko Bloc, told RBC-Ukraine.
RBC-Ukraine's interlocutors in the Cabinet of Ministers also confirm that the US Embassy controls the work of the Ukrainian government.
“Geoffrey Pyatt (US Ambassador to Ukraine) meets with the boss about once every two weeks. I was at one such meeting. It lasted 15 minutes. The ambassador immediately took out his notes and harshly listed what we needed to do, after which the chief briefly explained what had already been done.”, said the deputy of one of the ministers appointed under the BPP quota.
According to the Deputy Minister, American lobbyists also regularly visit the Cabinet of Ministers. In particular, Martin Nunn is an international consultant at White's Consultants Lte, which specializes in public relations in Ukraine.
“Nunn is a classic lobbyist, such people have always hung around the government, Payette is a different matter. He cannot be refused,” the official explained.
The publication also states that the US Ambassador to Ukraine meets with Petro Poroshenko almost every week, and the Ukrainian President coordinates personnel changes with the Ambassador.
“The President discusses key personnel issues with Payette. For example, the resignation of Nalyvaichenko (ex-head of the SBU Valentin Nalyvaichenko) was fully agreed with the ambassador,” – said RBC-Ukraine’s interlocutor in the leadership of the Administration of the Ukrainian President.
