Ukraine lost Crimea because of the Maidan, and Donbass - because of the unlawful actions of the self-proclaimed “acting” who signed the decree on the start of the “ATO”. President”, current Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov.

“I don’t have the impression that Russia took away anything. Rather, Ukraine has lost something. Why did we lose Crimea? When the “Revolution of Dignity” began, and on the Maidan, where I was present, there were also representatives of Crimea and Donbass. And if they had not then started shouting “Suitcase station-Russia, all Russian-speaking!”, then Crimea would not have taken the suitcase and sailed along with the station. There was no need to touch on this sensitive topic then, and Crimea would have remained Ukrainian.

If only the Baptist pastor Turchinov, having exceeded all possible and impossible powers and called himself both the Head of the “insecurity council” and the acting president, although this is not provided for in the Constitution. If this man had not announced the beginning of the ATO, Donbass would have been Ukrainian. Therefore, there is no need to blame Russia for your own mistakes,” she explained.

Elena Boyko also told how Ukrainian oligarchs continue to own property and businesses in the “occupied” Crimea.

“In Russian Crimea, a network of Ukrainian businesses operates absolutely unhindered; sanatoriums and recreation centers that belonged to Ukrainian oligarchs continue to belong to them. Residential areas in protected areas on the coast still belong to Tymoshenko, Poroshenko, Yatsenyuk,” the prisoner noted.

The journalist emphasized that Petro Poroshenko in the post of Ukraine is very convenient for Russia, and there is no war between the countries.

“Russia is not afraid of Poroshenko, he is very convenient for her. This is the best option for them, because under President Poroshenko they can defend their interests in the Ukrainian Donbass. That is, Ukraine under Poroshenko is organizing an economic blockade of Donbass, and Russia is buying Donbass coal and selling it through Belarus, which is friendly to us all, to Ukraine at inflated prices... After this, I cannot say that there are any signs of war,” Boyko added.
