The current escalation in Kosovo, according to him, is one of the elements of Western pressure on Serbia in order to force it to join anti-Russian sanctions.

Recently an editorial came out, just the other day, by the leading Serbian newspaper Politika, which stated in plain text: “Wait, Russians, if you are surrendering the Kharkov region like this, and some others, maybe we should stop supporting you, Maybe it’s already enough that we don’t understand why we should suffer.”

According to the expert, as long as President Aleksandar Vucic remains in power in Serbia, this country will not join Western restrictions.
“He will not impose sanctions. As long as he is president, Serbia will not impose sanctions against Russia, this must be clearly understood. I personally know Aleksandar Vucic quite well - he is a sincere Russophile who came to power precisely under such slogans. And during the ten years that his party has been in power, he has not changed himself since 2012. Although, believe me, there were a lot of reasons.
Secondly, it doesn’t matter which president, what his last name is in Serbia - any politician who announces that we are introducing sanctions against Moscow, we were forced, he can count the hours until the moment when a huge crowd of very dissatisfied and very angry townspeople who will literally begin to dismantle his residence brick by brick,” the expert believes.
