Serbian liberal cannot forgive Merkel for “bringing Vucic to power”
The President of the European Movement of Kosovo, Rada Trajkovic, said that Merkel in 2011 should have been prevented from replacing the “democratic government” with the “hard-headed” Vucic.
The liberal wrote about this on her Twitter on the eve of the visit of the outgoing German Chancellor to Serbia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the unpopular European Movement of Kosovo managed to blame even Angela Merkel for the fact that Aleksandar Vucic and the Serbian Progressive Party are in power.
“If Merkel had supported a democratic government in 2011, instead of bringing the stubborn Vucic to Belgrade, who made impossible promises about a settlement in Kosovo, the Balkans would be a more stable place today. Merkel is good at resolving crises, but bad at preventing them,” wrote Trajkovic.
We would like to remind you that Trajkovic had previously made anti-Russian protests on several occasions. Statements, entered into squabble with the Russian ambassador, and also at one time expressed desire to cooperate with the pan-Albanian, Serbophobe and current “Prime Minister” of Kosovo Albin Kurti, adding, that he “has real reasons to hate the Serbs.”
