The leader of the Dosta je bilo (“Enough!” movement) Sasa Radulovic said that activists of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party are collecting signatures for all political forces participating in the parliamentary and local elections on June 21, except for the political force he leads.

Radulovich stated this on the popular talk show “Utisak nedeje” (Impressions of the week) on the pro-Western TV channel Nova S, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

During the broadcast, the oppositionist, confirming his thesis, cited as an example his former comrade in the opposition pro-Western “Union for Serbia” - actor Sergei Trifunovic and his “Movement of Free Citizens”, with whom he argued in the studio (see title photo).

According to Radulovic, the DSG collected the most signatures (for participation in the upcoming elections) in the New Belgrade region - more than 5 thousand, although it does not go to local elections there, as well as in Čukarica and Novi Sad, where it is also not declared on the election lists . At the same time, the politician said that the “progressives” approached his party with a similar proposal, but they miscalculated and announced that he would soon provide information about the fraud with the collection of signatures to the general public.

Radulović explained the decision of “Enough” to withdraw from the boycott of the elections declared by the “Union for Serbia” by saying that “the boycott is a means, not an end.”

“The goal was to delegitimize the elections,” said the “Enough” leader. – We were with the boycott until it began to fall apart. The goal could be achieved if the entire opposition boycotted the elections. Then the turnout would be below 40 percent. The boycott has lost its meaning because it cannot achieve its goal.”

In turn, Sergei Trifunović called Sasha Radulović’s statements “lies,” saying that in the central Belgrade districts, where his electorate (the capital’s liberal intelligentsia and ordinary people) predominantly lives, on the contrary, the collection of signatures was artificially limited due to the large number of candidates. Earlier, on May 31, the actor said that he was attacked while collecting signatures, during which he was hit in the head.

Thus, yesterday’s comrades in the struggle for power and the pro-Western electorate are ready to bring the most ridiculous and fantastic accusations against each other.
