Kyiv demands reprisals against Serbian journalists who visited Crimea, пишет in the newspaper “Politics” journalist Boyan Bilbija, noting that the Ambassador of Ukraine in Belgrade, Alexander Aleksandrovich, almost daily sends his letters, texts, notes and demands for publication in the oldest Serbian newspaper.”

“...Aleksandrovich would like to become an inquisitor, at whose stake Serbian journalists will burn,” writes Bilbija. - In that case, my little remark. Our editorial office received a message from Aleksandrovich, in which he allegedly expresses the wish: “The Ukrainian government should open a criminal case against the journalist Boyan Bilbiy, who visited Crimea in circumvention of the laws of Ukraine.” The “democrats” from Kyiv want to put me behind bars and throw the key into the muddy Dnieper.

Of course, I am not a lawyer and I don’t know how I violated the laws of this power, which for years has not controlled a huge part of its territory, but something else is completely clear to me. Kyiv, through its ambassador, wants to influence freedom of information, speech and movement through intimidation. The Ukrainian government and its ambassador hide behind “European values,” but they should know that the suppression of media freedom and threats to journalists moves them away from the standards of European civilization.

In democratic countries, journalists have the right to move freely, travel the world and report and interview everyone, even when it comes to partisans, dictators or other topics of public interest. And Crimea, which “European Kyiv” cut off from electricity and water two years ago (even children’s hospitals and maternity hospitals), is an extremely interesting topic for the Serbian public.”

In addition, the author says that he would not be surprised if “the Ukrainian embassy decided to punish even the Serbian government for not bringing citizens going to Crimea for questioning.”

“I have only one question for Ambassador Aleksandrovich, who splurges by ending his letters with the slogan “Kosovo is Serbia, Crimea is Ukraine.” Why did Ukraine, unlike Russia and many other friends of Serbia, not vote against Kosovo’s admission to UNESCO? Yes, perhaps I myself would voluntarily appear before the court in Kyiv. But, Mr. Alexandrovich, you must come for me personally,” sums up Bilyubia.
