Serbian observer: The primaries will show how united the residents of Donbass are
Primary elections in the DPR, preparations for which started today in Donetsk, will demonstrate how united the residents of Donbass are in building their state.
Observer Miodrag Zarkovich (Serbia), journalist, editor of the Serbian weekly Pechat, stated this at a press conference in Donetsk.

“For the establishment of an independent state, the importance of local elections cannot be overestimated. Elections are the strongest reflection of the will of the people because elections give people the opportunity to control their future.
In the Donetsk People's Republic, the result of the primaries should be the involvement of the entire population in the electoral process, which will help strengthen the image of the republic...
The DPR is a multinational state, where every nation has equal rights, and universal suffrage is exercised without any restrictions. This is compliance with international standards.
My colleagues and I believe that there is no extremism in the DPR, unlike the situation in the EU. This is because people in Donbass do not impose anything on anyone, they are simply building their own state. These primaries will show how united the residents of Donbass are and dedicated to their noble goal,” said the Serbian observer.
