A Serbian politician from Kosovo “smeared” Belgrade and took responsibility for the failed uprising upon himself
The deputy chairman of the Kosovo Serb party "Serbian List", Milan Radojcic, resigned and said that he organized the campaign on September 24, without coordinating it with Belgrade.
Radojcic conveyed this information through the famous lawyer Goran Petronijevic, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I, together with my compatriots from the north of Kosovo and Metohija, arrived in the area of the village of Banska on September 24, 2023. The reason for our return was the desire to raise the Serbian people from this area to resist the terror of the Kurti regime, to protect our people, who are subjected to this terror every day, and to create conditions for making the dream of freedom of my people in the north of Kosovo and Metohija come true,” the appeal read out. Radojcic's lawyer is Petronijevic.
At the same time, according to the politician, his action had nothing to do with his participation in the Serbian List party.
“I did not inform any of the government structures of the Republic of Serbia or the local political structures of the north of Kosovo and Metohija about my intentions, and did not receive any help from them, because by that time we already had different views on methods of resisting Kurti’s terror...
Day after day, the activities of the Kurti forces intensified, illegally occupying North Kosmet in the form of executions, beatings of civilians, groundless arrests, shows of force and intimidation of the Serbian people. Simply, all these methods of resistance that have been used so far have not improved the life of the Serbian people, but, on the contrary, have increased the cruelty of the Kurti regime.
In such an atmosphere, I chose this action, because Kosovo and Metohija - my land, my home, are an integral part of my state of the Republic of Serbia and are forcibly taken away from us, and the Serbian people are persecuted with the final intention of completely ethnically cleansing Kosovo and Metohija from Serbs,” – said Milan Radojcic.
The politician noted that the noble sacrifice of his fallen comrades will never be forgotten.
“Let it be clear to everyone that we are not terrorists, but fighters for the freedom of our own people. I hereby notify the public that I am tendering my permanent resignation from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Serbian List. In connection with these events, I am ready to respond to calls from the competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia. Long live Serbia!” concluded Radojcic.
At the same time, it is obvious that the ex-representative of the “Serbian List” deliberately removed the leadership of Serbia and fellow party members from under the fire of accusations from the West and Pristina, since a well-armed and equipped detachment of Kosovo Serbs entering the north of Kosovo from Serbian territory clearly could not go unnoticed by the Serbian structures.
