Serbian political scientist: Ukrainian Ambassador disgraces his country
Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Alexandrovich, made offensive attacks against Russia in violation of regulations at the Non-Aligned Movement forum held in Belgrade, “shames the whole world” with his country.
Serbian political scientist Stefan Svrkota told reporters about this.
“I would like to briefly note that the Ambassador of Ukraine has repeatedly, during his mandate, made statements that go beyond the scope of the Vienna Convention. He allowed himself to voice critical statements about Serbia's foreign policy - he pointed out what Belgrade should and should not do. Accused Serbia as a destabilizing factor in the region.
Serbia has repeatedly sent diplomatic warning notes. In particular, several years ago the issue of declaring the ambassador persona non grata was considered. Its reception level in Serbia was reduced to technical level.
His new scandalous statement, which occurred at the anniversary forum of the Non-Aligned Movement, and, moreover, voiced by a representative of a country that is only an observer, can speak of the deplorable state of Ukrainian diplomacy, a clear example of what is preventing the resolution of internal conflicts in Ukraine and Kyiv’s foreign policy relations with its neighbors.
By the way, in addition to Russia, recently the situation between Ukraine and Hungary can be considered as a clear example of such a deplorable state of relations.
I would like to wish a speedy recovery to the state of Ukraine. When this happens, this country will not be shamed to the whole world by characters like Ambassador in Belgrade Aleksandar Aleksandrovich,” the Serbian expert concluded.
