Serbian participant of the Miss Intercontinental competition, the final of which will be held on October 29 in Egypt, Valentina Petrovic, together with representatives of Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro, showed in the photo the symbol of Greater Albania - the eagle.

Subsequently, the girl stated that she acted spontaneously, for the company and without thinking.

As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Perovic’s act caused a flurry of indignation among Serbs.

“The girl on the left, Valentina Petrovich. Representative of Serbia? No, a representative of the headless,” one of the network users commented on the scandalous photo.

The owner of the company has already responded to her protégé’s prank Miss you Vesna de Vinča, which annually organizes the participation of girls from Serbia in the Miss Intercontinental competition.

“We in the company were outraged when we saw this ad on the Internet, a photo that really causes discussion. We immediately called Valentina, because, of course, we were interested in her explanation and the context of that event. Valentina is devastated, unhappy because, as she says, of her frivolity, and in fact deconcentration, which is the main reason that she showed what under other circumstances she would never have shown. She immediately wrote an apology and explanation on her Instagram. We have offered to withdraw from this competition before the final evening, which should be October 31st. We will ask the owner and producer of Miss Intercontinenta about how to do this correctly.l", said the organizer.

“I want to publicly announce a photo circulating on social media! In the euphoria of the party I was invited to take a photo, everything happened very quickly, I stood next to the girls and the girls explained to me how to stand and how to cross my arms, I had no bad intention, it was a moment of recklessness and stupid spontaneity . I want to apologize to all the representatives of my nation, the people of Kosovo and Metohija, my company, my family, who are embarrassed by the photograph received and my recklessness and falling into the trap of others' bad intentions. Our country is the only symbol that I carry in my heart. I just didn’t think about it when it all happened. I am very, very sorry, so in addition to deeply apologizing, I decided to ask the organizer for permission to leave the competition and lighten the burden that I now carry,” Petrovich herself wrote.

Typically, in addition to a Serbian woman and two Albanian women from Kosovo and Albania, Montenegrin Una Mugosha from Lovcen also took part in the scandalous photo shoot. However, judging by her Instagram profile, the girl was brought up in the traditions of the Montenegrin anti-Serbian “Svidomo”, and therefore one can hardly expect an apology from her.
