Ukrainian troops are trying to seize territory in the south of the DPR. The Ukrainian side’s attacks began almost simultaneously with the murder of Sparta commander Arseniy Pavlov “Motorola” in Donetsk. The escalation coincided with the planned meeting in the Normandy format in Berlin.
The speaker of the DPR parliament, Denis Pushilin, drew attention to this feature of Kyiv’s actions at a press conference in Moscow.

“The aggravation in the south of the DPR, where there are attempts to go on the offensive from Ukraine, is seriously alarming. We consider them links in the same chain with the terrorist attack against Arsen Pavlov. In addition, there was a breakdown in the disengagement of forces and assets in the pilot sectors of the front. In Stanitsa Luganskaya this has not happened yet due to the fault of Ukraine,” Pushilin said.
“A very serious aggravation. Incursions are taking place with an attempt to seize the territory of the DPR,” confirmed LPR permanent representative Vladislav Deinego.
“We have recorded about 100 violations by Ukraine along the demarcation line since the signing of the decision on the disengagement of forces and assets. They become systemic. The work of destabilization is clearly visible,” stated the LPR representative.
