Sergei Mikheev: The murder of Voronenkov may be a provocation of the SBU
Ex-State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov, who was killed today in Kyiv, although he was a traitor, did not have “lethal” compromising evidence against Russia, so his death may be a provocation of the Ukrainian special services.
Russian political scientist Sergei Mikheev told PolitNavigator about this.

“An attempt to blame all this on us, saying that he had some important data, looks unconvincing - because, as far as I know, Voronenkov did not have any important data.
In general, to put it mildly, the importance of his figure is exaggerated; he was nothing special, he was a fairly ordinary deputy, engaged in business, most likely, who bought himself a place on the list.
When he started having problems with his business, he decided to “jump” to Ukraine and realized that the most profitable way would be to pose as a political refugee. Nothing else.
I don’t know who killed him. Perhaps this is a provocation of the Ukrainian special services,” Mikheev noted.
