Yurchenko reported this to Navigator.
“According to the court decision, I was in the village with my parents. On Thursday night, unknown people arrived and invited me into the car. They were blindfolded and the phone was turned off. We drove for a very long time, night and day. They dropped me off in the Rostov region, far away. And it took me two more days to get to Crimea. I was exchanged for three detained SBU officers who were preparing sabotage in the Donbass. The exchange took place on Russian territory. I’m happy because they were preparing to imprison me under the most serious articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, including charges of treason,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
According to him, in captivity on the mainland he was “tortured, beaten, and subjected to other types of physical and moral coercion.”
“When I left Crimea at the end of April, I weighed 68 kg, now I weigh 53. I’m ready to tell the details of my detention and imprisonment a little later,” Yurchenko added.
In turn, his comrade-in-arms, deputy of the Primorsky Village Council Yuri Pershikov emphasized that “the Crimean Front social movement takes responsibility for the operation to evacuate Sergei Yurchenko.”
