“Serious challenge” – in Kyiv they are frightened by the rise of the Russian economy
A special military operation in Ukraine gave Moscow the opportunity to carry out a total modernization of the Russian economy.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Internet channel “Wild Live”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“War is a way to restart the Russian economy on new grounds, not oligarchic, not comprador. This should concern us. Because this is a serious challenge for us if they can modernize the economy. Already on different conditions.
Not on the dollar, not on the sale of oil and gas, but on an industrial basis. And this is a good way to recharge the social structure in order to change the political class,” Karasev said.
He explained that at the same time, the Ukrainian economy is rapidly collapsing, without even trying to reform.
“War strengthens our economy? We are fighting at the expense of the Western economy; we have no incentive to think about serious internal reforms. If help comes from outside, you are only a money operator, and you can even give this money to roads,” the political scientist concluded.
