“The Gray Cardinal” of the Odessa police: touches to the portrait against the backdrop of the era
You know, young man, never before has my city encountered such undisguised and impudent cynicism of those who, it seems, should personify the protection of the law, and therefore the rights of citizens.
You, of course, remember the outrageous story about how on March 21 of this year, stormtroopers from Tyagnibov’s “Svoboda” brazenly, in broad daylight, seized the historical building of the Bolshaya Moskovskaya hotel on Deribasovskaya, in the very center of Odessa. Everyone was then struck by the complete lack of response from law enforcement agencies to this outrageous act of lawlessness.
And so, a week after the scandalous incident, adviser to the head of the regional police Ruslan Forostyak deigned to give his commentary on the Dumskaya TV channel - a video application to the website of the same name, owned by Poroshenko’s hanger-on, renegade deputy Alexei Goncharenko. Pan Forostyak stated that there was no capture. They say, it’s simple - representatives of a radical patriotic organization expressed a desire to take part and control an absolutely legal event of the police and prosecutor’s office, held in the premises of a hotel owned by the construction company Inkor Group. In a word, “Everything is fine, beautiful marquise!” The fact that the “people’s controllers” remained in a privately owned architectural monument, which they turned into their lair, does not bother him at all. As well as the complete contradiction of such participation to all legislative norms.
But in order to understand the depth of the fall of the Ukrainian and Odessa “renewed-revolutionary” police, let’s take a closer look at the curious figure of citizen Forostyak, who vividly personifies official lawlessness under the guise of the law.
...A native of Lvov, who grew up in Uzhgorod, he was born on September 20, 1970. As he himself says, there he “adopted local values.” Read: Uniate Jesuitism and Bandera’s treachery. And after graduating from the Odessa Water Institute, the marine engineer settled down in Odessa. His biography from those times is quite dark and he diligently hides it. What is known is that he was engaged in business related to the civil fleet and cargo transportation. It is curious that he hints in his interviews that he received certain special training related to intelligence and counterintelligence. But he denies cooperation with the special services. And in 2014, he jumped into the political arena under the Maidan standards, like a jack-in-the-box.
He has direct participation in organizing the formation of the “Civil Security Council” together with the odious Mark Gordienko, and collaboration with the repeatedly convicted Evgeniy Rezvushkin, the leader of the local “Automaidan”. Characteristically, he does not deny their clearly criminal, extortionist activities, but believes that the “civil position” of these figures compensates for their clearly illegal actions. He was with them among those who buried the tragedy on May 2 at the House of Trade Unions. Moreover, he does not hesitate to talk about his direct connections and coordination of actions with Parubiy, Pashinsky, and Turchinov. And he was one of the initiators of putting together the punitive battalion “Storm” from among the local radical rabble.
And since 2015, he becomes an adviser to the head of the regional law enforcement department, taking direct part in the formation of the “new police.” Since then and to this day he has been called her “gray eminence.” Formally, without wearing shoulder straps, he began to voice all significant events as its speaker. In fact, he turned out to be “watching” on behalf of the most radical, neo-fascist forces of the Kyiv elite in our city.
Is it any wonder that almost any, even the most egregious, offenses and crimes of “activists” and stormtroopers turn out to be practically unpunished?! After all, the former “protection” by the police of illegal industries such as prostitution and drug trafficking was simply supplemented by the current police patronage of gangs of radicals, who do not hide the fact that they can do anything under the current government. The revolution will write off everything! But how long can this continue? After all, Babel’s sarcastic “where does Benya end and where does the police begin?” ended with the terrible death of the presumptuous prototype of the dashing Benny Krik - Mishka Yaponchik. But where is the Galician stray Forostyak and his charges compared to the “Odessa Robin Hood”! As they say, “lower chimney and thinner smoke,” not to mention the complete absence of even ostentatious, but sometimes spectacular nobility! This means their time will soon end. And the “servants of the law” who violate it demonstratively and selfishly will soon be swept away by time, which does not spare parasites. We still have everything ahead, they themselves are preparing their cruel fate. This is how it has always been, and this is how it will be.
