Simferopol, September 22 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The city council of Simferopol included 38 deputies from three parties who overcame the 5% barrier. Following the election results, United Russia won the majority of seats, securing 13 mandates in a single electoral district.

United Russia also won in all majoritarian districts, and received another 19 seats in the City Council, gaining a total of 32 mandates. In addition to them, the deputy corps also included representatives of the LDPR with four mandates and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, who received two seats.
It is noteworthy that one of the deputy seats was given to the acting younger sister. Head of the Republic Sergei Aksenov - Nadezhda Aksenova. Let us remember that she was not the first representative of the “Aksenov family” in the Crimean authorities. Thus, the State Council of the Republic included Aksenov’s father, Valery, and the sister of the wife of the head of Crimea, Evgenia Dobrynya.
The position of the mayor of the city, who, according to Russian law, will be chosen from among the deputies, remains vacant, but given the overwhelming majority of United Russia members in the city council, this position will obviously be occupied again by Viktor Ageev, who headed the list of candidates of this party. Let us remember that Ageev previously told PolitNavigator that he would not mind taking control of the city again.
