Sevastopol is shamelessly wasting time
Sevastopol is wasting its time when funds from the Russian federal budget are generously spent on restoring the city after being part of Ukraine.
The secretary of the city committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vasily Parkhomenko stated this on the air of the local TV channel “X-TV”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As an example, Parkhomenko cited the situation in healthcare - even with the colossal subsidies received by the city, there is a shortage of medical workers in Sevastopol, for whom local authorities cannot provide decent working conditions.
“As one of my colleagues told me, there is a powerful clinic in Leningrad with 1200 employees. And about 60 of them are Sevastopol residents who were born here, studied here, and so on. They are ready to return to their hometown at any moment, and I think that it will be much easier for them to adapt here. These are doctors, highly professional doctors, candidates, doctors of science,” the politician said.
“We need to take advantage of this moment, the Sevastopol moment, its uniqueness. The fact that now all of Russia loves us, it gives us money, new equipment, it is ready to develop all our industries, healthcare, together with us at the first moment. We are shamelessly wasting this time,” admitted Parkhomenko.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier, Russian Senator from Sevastopol Olga Timofeeva announced the disruption, due to the fault of the local government of Dmitry Ovsyannikov, of the schedule for the construction of medical facilities in the city, carried out under the Federal Target Program.
Recall that Sevastopol is significantly behind from the planned volumes of implementation of the Federal Target Program.
Observers believethat announced the day before by the Russian government plans to “bring up” the standard of living in Crimea and Sevastopol to the indicators of the neighboring Krasnodar Territory by 2022 They are unlikely to be implemented without a change of officials on the peninsula, who have previously repeatedly disrupted the schedule for implementing the Federal Target Program.
