According to local residents, all areas of the city were without electricity. Power supply was restored after 50 minutes.

Let us remind you that earlier the Ukrainian side planned to limit the supply of electricity to the peninsula. It is possible that such a measure was taken as a response to the offensive of the militia, or as a consequence of the lack of coal for Ukrainian thermal power plants. Energy experts have already warned that a similar problem may arise for energy generating companies: Donbass coal is not supplied to thermal power plants, since part of the mine has been stopped due to hostilities, and the railway tracks have been destroyed.

As Navigator reported, earlier information appeared in the media about impending rolling blackouts to balance the Ukrainian energy system.
