Sevastopol said goodbye to the intelligence officer who heroically defended the Kherson region
In Sevastopol they said goodbye to intelligence officer Vladimir Osipenko.
He died during artillery shelling in the Kherson region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we saw off Vladimir Olegovich Osipenko, a machine gunner operator of the radio and electronic intelligence department of the reconnaissance battalion, on his last journey,” Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev wrote in his telegram channel. “Vladimir Olegovich was born in Sevastopol and loved his homeland with all his heart, worried about the future of Donbass, where he spent his years of study - he is a graduate of Donetsk National University with a degree in industrial engineering.”
Osipenko was called up as part of partial mobilization. He ended up in intelligence - a unit that performs the most difficult tasks.
“Brave, honest, decent. They say about such people: a real fighter! A real Sevastopol resident! – Razvozhaev emphasized. “We will remember our hero!”
