Sevastopol is anxiously following plans for the development of the Zolotaya Balka vineyards
The public of Sevastopol is anxiously following the plans for the development of the Zolotaya Balka vineyards - the owners of the company announced the corresponding plans several months ago, announcing the emergence of the elite cottage village “ZB Village”.
Modern sanitary standards may become a legal basis for development - some of the vineyards are located near residential buildings, and therefore their treatment with fertilizers becomes impossible.
Residents of Balaklava were excited by the work that had begun on Mount Asceti near the famous Genoese fortress. PR manager of Zolotaya Balka Violetta Koloskova assured that we are only talking about uprooting old vineyards.
According to her, the cottage community will be built in a different location - in the area of Zemlyanichnaya and Alanskaya streets. This site is intended for agriculture, but the company assures that vineyards will not be planted there due to its proximity to a residential area.
“Seven hectares. The land is owned by Zolotaya Balka, and is adjacent to the Balaklava facilities - a kindergarten and a primary school. Accordingly, these lands cannot be used for agriculture,” Koloskova said in an interview with the First Sevastopol TV channel.
Sevastopol politician Vadim Kolesnichenko believes that the appetites of businessmen will increase, and the clearing of old vineyards on Asceti is not happening by chance.
“For example, I am beginning to realize that we are more and more accustomed to the idea that there should be a cottage community there in the vineyards. And while you and I are worried, thinking, doubting whether there will be vineyards or housing there, I believe developers are looking for ways and mechanisms to solve the problem with the vineyard,” Kolesnichenko said on air.
